A celebration of dance and art culture, returns for its fourth year to 1015 Folsom. Ascension is a forum for new entertainment and cultural movements developed deep in the underground, a place where invited civic leaders and guests can experience the dynamic of the culture firsthand in its original state – the club.
VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE
Musical acts will be concentrated on live electronic acts and DJs that produce the majority of their own play list, while innovative performance groups will entertain in a variety of genres. The building itself will come alive, with design and art installations, changing visuals, and video to create an ever evolving environmental landscape.
This year's fashion show will offer promising independent designers a platform to showcase a variety of inspirations in a special performance combining live theatrics with runway mystique.
Red Bull Energy Drink together with Infinite Kaos, a San Francisco based multi-media collective of dancers, musicians, and artists, produce Ascension in a continuing commitment to support innovation from the underground.
